Description
LAN (28% N)
Application:
Ideal nitrogen source for stimulating quick leaf growth for roses, lawns, citrus trees and shrubs. Appropriate for soils with a low pH(acidic soils). At the start of the growing season, prior to adding fertilizer, work in Culterra Compost(1 part compost to 1 part soil).
Application frequency:
Apply monthly during the growing season.
Application rate for LAN:
For new beds:
Apply 30g(2 tbls) per m2 and work in to a depth of 150mm.
For lawns:
Use Culterra Lawn Dressing(5mm layer) at the beginning of the growing season and follow up with 30g(2 tbls) per m2 LAN.
For existing plants:
Depending on the size of the shrub/tree, spread evenly 30g-250g(2-16 tbls) around the plant and work in gently with a fork.
To planting holes:
Add at a rate of 15g(1 tbls) for small shrubs and 120g(12 tbls) for large trees. Mix fertilizer with half the 1:1 soil and compost mix and plant shrub/tree. Use remainder to fill hole and retain added water.
