Description

Rose planting mix is ideal for planting out roses.

Peatmoss provides improved moisture control.
Bark chips improve drainage and help prevent disease, root rot and sickly roses.
One hundred percent organic raw material.
Organic fertilizer feeds for up to five months and does not burn the roots.
Use straight from the bag – no additives required.

Directions for use:

Dig a hole twice as wide and as deep as the root ball of the rose bush.
Loosen the soil a further 150mm deep.
Add a layer of Rose Planting Mix to the bottom of the hole and insert the rose. Fill with more Rose Planting Mix and press lightly. The plant should be at the same level as the surrounding soil level.
Keep the plant upright and tread the soil firmly, working away from the rose stem.
Rim the edge of the hole with soil and fill it with water until the rose root ball and surrounding mix are thoroughly soaked.
After five months apply Rose 8:1:5 (25) every six weeks throughout the growing season. At the beginning of the next growing season work in Kraal manure (three parts manure to one part soil) and follow up with Rose 8:1:5 (25) every six weeks.
